We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or OP 19. OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. You may also notice that the version number in content and videos may not match the version of your software, and some procedural content may not match the workflow in your software. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these enhancements.

Adding or Modifying Groups

Version 14.19
  1. Open the Security Settings table by going to the menu bar at the top of the screen and clicking Utilities > System Admin > Security Administration.
  2. Click on the Groups tab. In the box on the left will be a list of groups and on the right will be a list of all permissions available for assignment to these groups. 
  3. To create a new group, click the Add Group button. 

  1. A popup window will appear. 

  1. In the fields provided, enter a group name and, if desired, a description of the group. 
  2. Click OK to save and close. 
  3. To edit a group name or description, click to select the group name in the list on the left, then click the Edit Group button on the right side of the form. In the pop-up window, make any desired modifications then click OK
  4. To remove a group, click to select the group name in the list on the left. With the group name still highlighted, click the Remove button on the right side of the form. In a pop-up window the system will prompt you to confirm removal of the group. Click Yes.
