Widgets can be created and customized in the OP Portal to enhance the patient/parent experience and customize your portal. You can rearrange the widgets on the Home Page, and add new custom widgets.

Customize Patient/Parent Home Page

To rearrange the widgets on the OP Portal:

1. From the navigation menu, click Settings > Custom Widgets.
2. Rearrange the widgets, or add or remove visibility of widgets by dragging and dropping to the Active or Inactive column, for each available section:
   • Home Custom Widgets: The main widget boxes on the home page.
   • Mini Custom Widgets: The three bar widgets at the top of the home page.
   • MR Mini Widgets: The bar widgets on the right side of the Medical Records page.
   • MR Widgets: The main widget boxes on the Medical Records page.
3. When finished, click Save.

To add a new widget on the parent's home page:

1. From the navigation menu on the left, click Settings.
2. Click Custom Widgets.
3. Click Add New.
4. Edit the widget accordingly.
5. Click Save.
6. The widget will appear on the parent/patient home page.

You can create a mini widget from any of the content available on the left-hand side of the portal navigation:

1. Navigate to the page you want to create a mini widget from by clicking on it.
2. Copy the path in the URL beginning with /panel/....
3. Navigate to the Custom Mini Widget page: Settings > Custom Mini Widgets.
4. Click Add New.
5. Enter the Mini Widget information:
   1. Right-click and paste the path URL into the Route field.
   2. Add the required information:
      • Icon
      • Title (English and Spanish)
      • Subtitle (English and Spanish)
6. Click Save.
7. Navigate to Custom Widgets and follow the steps to add the Mini Widget to the homepage.
