Demographic Analysis and Recall: Patient Demographics

The Patient Demographics Report must be run prior to continuing on to run the Clinical Recall, Care Plan Recall, and Vaccine Status Recall reports. It does not need to be run prior to running the Vaccines Given reports. Follow the steps below to build your demographic list.

Patient Demographics Report


  1. Select a Visit dates parameter.
  • No date restriction: shows all patients regardless of last visit date.
  • At least one visit since: a specific date can be entered to only show patients who have been recently seen.
  1. Select the Active patients only checkbox to only show patients who are listed as 'Active' in the Register. To report on other patient statuses, leave this box unchecked.
  2. Select the Show future Appt checkbox to show patients with future appointments.
  3. Select the Exclude patients with appts checkbox to exclude patients with upcoming scheduled appointments
  4. Click the Search button.
  5. Click the Show/Hide Visible columns button  to customize the data you want to display in the grid. Select or deselect checkboxes to determine what will appear. There are over 40 columns to choose from.
  6. Sort, Group, or Filter the data in the grid.

Example: Your practice wants to run a report to show all patients who have a March birthday.

  1. Select all search parameters regarding your date range and patients.
  2. Add the Birth Day column to your grid.
  3. Filter your data to show only March birthdays.
