About Developmental Milestones

Path: Clinical, Practice Management or Billing tab > Patient Chart button > Development > Narrative or Graphical tab > New button

The Developmental Milestones window applies narrative or graphical milestones to a patient’s chart. There are two Developmental Milestone windows: 

  • Developmental Milestones (Narrative)
  • Developmental Milestones (Graphical)

Inform FieldsThe Inform fields set the following milestone information: date, recorded by (examiner), informant (parent, guardian, etc.), age milestone was achieved, and the milestone age search.

Patient Age ComparisonThe Patient Age Comparison displays the patient’s age, gestational age, and corrected age.

Add to Note buttonThe Add to Note button adds a Developmental Milestone note.  It begins the note with the patient’s age and the informant about the milestone.

Milestone ListThe Milestone List displays the Milestones to be achieved by the patient.  Milestones are categorized by age.

Phrase Construction button
The Phrase Construction button access the Phrase Construction window to find a phrase for the Milestone Note description.

Milestone Note
The Milestone Note displays the Milestone Note as it is being created.

Resources buttonThe Resources button provides web access to information on various categories.

Save buttonThe Save button saves the Milestone note and applies it to the Narrative Milestone list in the Development Evaluation window.

Cancel buttonThe Cancel button cancels the Developmental note and closes the Developmental Milestone window.

Milestone List gridThe Milestone List grid lists the milestones and age the milestone is normally achieved.  The evaluation score can be set along with any observations and instructions in this grid.
