About eRx Refill Summary

Path: Main Navigation bar > Refill Requests

You can use the eRx Refill Summary window to accept or deny prescription refills.

As-Prescribed PatientThe As-Prescribed Patient panel indicates the medication as prescribed by the physician.

As-Dispensed PatientThe As-Dispensed Patient panel indicates the medication as dispensed to the patient by the pharmacy.

Refill Request GridThe Refill Request grid lists the pending prescription

Supervisor dropdownThe Supervisor dropdown selects a Supervising Provider when it is necessary.  The Supervisor is then included in the message OP 14 sends to Surescripts.

Accept buttonThe Accept button function accepts the medication refill.

Deny buttonThe Deny button denies the medication refill.  To deny a prescription, choose the Denial Reason and then click the Deny button.  Denied refills will appear under the Refills Denied tab.
