About eRx Summary
Path: Clinical, Practice Management, or Billing tab > Patient Chart button > Medications > New button > (Create Prescription) > Send button > (Select Pharmacy) > Send button

The eRx Summary is the last window displayed before a prescription is electronically transmitted to the pharmacy. This gives you the chance to review the prescription before clicking the Send button to transmit the prescription to the pharmacy.
eRx Summary Map
Number | Section | Description |
1 | Patient information | The Patient Information section of the window displays the patient's Patient ID, full name, sex, birth date, full address, and latest height and weight, when available. |
2 | Medication information | The Medication information section of the window displays diagnoses, medication and dosage information, start date, and pharmacy notes as entered by the prescriber. |
3 | Pharmacy information | The Pharmacy information section of the window displays the pharmacy name, full address, phone, and fax. |
4 | Prescriber address | The Prescriber information section of the window displays the prescriber's name, full practice address, phone, and fax. |

The eRx Summary form is the last form to appear before a prescription is electronically transmitted to the pharmacy. This gives you the chance to review the prescription before clicking the Send button to transmit the prescription to the pharmacy.
eRx Summary Map
Number | Section | Description |
1 | Patient information | The Patient Information fields display the patient name, gender, and birth date. |
2 | Prescription information | The Prescription information fields display the prescription as prescribed by the prescriber. Review this information to be certain it is correct before sending it to the pharmacy. |
3 | Pharmacy address | The Pharmacy Address field indicates the pharmacy address that receives the prescription. |
4 | Prescriber address | The Prescriber Address field indicates the prescriber address that is sending the prescription. |
5 | Send button | The Send button transmits the prescription to the pharmacy. |
6 | Edit button | The Edit button enters the prescription into edit mode. You can make changes to the prescription before transmitting it to the pharmacy. |
7 | Cancel button | The Cancel button closes the prescription without sending it to the pharmacy. |
