How do I obtain a Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) License?

Navigate to the Sign Up page of the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) site by clicking here.
Read and follow the instructions to Request a UMLS License.
Complete the UMLS License Request Form. Once UMLS has approved the license, you will receive an email notification.
Navigate back to the Unified Medical Language System site by clicking here; click the Sign In button at the top of the window.
Select the method to authenticate your login and click the My Profile button.
Copy your API Key information as it must be entered into the Merchant ID Field in the Correspondent Table, following the steps listed here.
