InteliChart Canned Reports (Non-MU)

Path: InteliChart Practice Portal > Main Navigation Panel > Reports > Canned Reports

Overview

InteliChart comes with several canned reports that are not necessarily used for MU reporting purposes. These reports enable the practice to obtain an accurate accounting of specific portal activity from both the Patient and Practice Portals. Each report offers different filters to focus the report on specific criteria. 

Processing Report Tab

If the requested report requires additional processing time, the user will be notified and be given the opportunity to request a notification when the report is ready. The Processing Report tab houses all of the reports that are in process as well as those whose processing has been completed. When a report is ready for review, simply click the Report Name to view the report.

Account Registration Lists Report

The Account Registration Lists report provides a list of Patient Portal Accounts (both Registered and Self-Registered Users) with login activity in the Portal. The report contains the following informational columns:

  • Name
  • Registration Type
  • Email
  • Registered On
  • Number of Logins
  • Last Login

To run the Account Registration Lists report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Account Registration Lists report, and click the Run Report button. The Account Registration Lists report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s) entered in the date range fields.

  1. Click the View Report button. The report is populated.

Outstanding Appointment Requests Report

The Outstanding Appointment Requests report provides a list of Patient Portal Accounts (both Registered and Self-Registered Users) with outstanding Appointment Requests from the Portal. The report contains the following informational columns:

  • Patient Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Self-Registration Status
  • Date the Appointment was Requested on

To run the Outstanding Appointment Requests report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Outstanding Appointment Requests report, and click the Run Report button. The Outstanding Appointment Requests report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s) entered in the date range fields.

  1. Click the View Report button. The report is populated.

Patient Messages Report

The Patient Messages report provides a list of messages sent from the Patient Portal. The report contains the following informational columns:

  • From
  • Subject
  • To
  • Sent On
  • Reply From
  • Replied On

To run the Patient Messages report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Patient Messages report, and click the Run Report button. The Patient Messages report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s) entered in the date range fields.

  1. Click the View Report button. The report is populated.

Patient Summary Report

The Patient Summary report provides information about the patients in the Patient Portal. The report contains the following information:

  • Total/Percentage of Patients Registered by Status (Registered or Self-Registered)
  • Appointment Summary Total by Status (Registered or Self-Registered)
  • Medication Total by Status (Registered or Self-Registered)
  • Messaging Total by Status (Registered or Self-Registered)
  • PIN Summary Totals 

To run the Patient Summary report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Patient Summary report, and click the Run Report button. The Patient Summary report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s) entered in the date range fields.

  1. Click the Process Report button. The request for the report is created, and the user is given the opportunity to request a notification when the report is processed.

Practice Messages Report

The Practice Messages report provides a list of messages sent from the Practice Portal. The report contains the following informational columns:

  • From
  • Subject
  • To
  • Sent On
  • Reply From
  • Replied On

To run the Practice Messages report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Practice Messages report, and click the Run Report button. The Practice Messages report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s) entered in the date range fields.

  1. Click the View Report button. The report is populated.

Scheduling Report

The Scheduling report provides a list of appointment requests for live, generic, and mobile scheduling. 

Note: At this time, only Generic Appointment Requests are supported. Live and Mobile Scheduling are forthcoming features.

The report contains the following informational columns:

  • Provider
  • Patient
  • DOB
  • Zip
  • Insurance
  • Request Date
  • Request Time
  • Appt Date
  • Appt Time
  • Appt Type
  • Appt Reason

To run the Scheduling report:

  1. Navigate to the Canned Reports by following the path above.
  2. Locate the Scheduling report, and click the Run Report button. The Scheduling report window is displayed.
  3. In the Reporting Period date range fields, enter a Start and End date.
  4. (Optional) Select the following criteria:
  • Location: By default, All Locations is selected but may be changed:
  1. Click the Location drop-down menu.
  2. Select the Location.
  • Providers
  1. Click Select Provider(s).
  2. Select the provider from the panel on the left side of the window.
  3. Click the right arrow to move the provider's name to the right panel.
  4. Repeat to select multiple providers, or click Select all providers to move all providers to the right panel.
  5. Click the Apply button.
  • Scheduling Type: By default, All Scheduling Types is selected but may be changed:
  1. Click the Scheduling Type drop-down menu.
  2. Select the Scheduling Type.

Tip: The Reset Filters button is available to clear the date(s), Location, Provider(s), or Scheduling Type selections.

  1. Click the View Report button.

Export a Report

After a report is processed, it can be exported to view, save, or reformat. To export a report to a PDF file, a Microsoft Word document, or an Excel spreadsheet, click the Export button and make your selection from the drop-down menu.
