Accessing the Manage Documents Window

The Review and Input buttons on the Smart toolbar have been replaced with the Docs button. Clicking the Docs button opens the Manage Documents window, which combines all of the functions from the Review Scanned Items and Input Scanned Items window into a single window.

When you click the Docs button on the Smart toolbar, OP 14 opens the Manage Documents window.

Patient Finder
This is the Patient Finder used throughout OP 14.

Search Records Button
Clicking this button launches the Search for Documents window, an improved tool for searching for documents.

New Document Button
Clicking this button allows you to input a new document and displays the Acquisition panel and Editing tools.

Print Button
Clicking this button displays a dropdown list with several print options.

Export Button
Clicking this button displays a dropdown list with several export options.

Document List Panel
Lists all documents associated with the selected patient.

Thumbnails Panel
Displays thumbnails of each document selected in the Document List panel

Preview Panel
Displays a preview of the content of the document selected in the Document List panel.

Document Controls Toolbar
Provides viewing and navigation functionality for the selected document.

Document Details Panel
Displays the file-level details for the selected document.



Note:   1-5 comprise the Global Options. Use these to open a specific patient’s documents and for searching for, creating, and exporting documents.
