We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or "OP 19". OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. Messages (Privacy)

Version 14.19

Message Privacy is set for each individual message.  To set the visibility level for a message:

  1. Access the Message Window:
  • Access the patient's Chart > Messages Tab and then click the + New Message button or select an older message.  The Message window appears.
  • Click the Send button.
  • Click the Message Center button (which is also accessed by clicking the Schedule and Practice Workflow (Sched button) > Messages tab) and then click the + New Message button or selecting an older message.
  1. Select the Note Visibility dropdown. The visibility level of Any Staff Member (shown below) includes the visibility on the portal.  To hide an item from being visible on the portal, select Clinical Staff Only (includes clinical staff plus providers) or higher in the Visibility dropdown.
