Function-Specific Resolved Issues
Schedule and Practice Workflow / Tracking
Solution ID: 00008256
|Issue:||When the end user posted charges and saved changes in the Add/Edit Charges window, OP 14 did not update the Billing Status field in the Tracking window from Superbill Exists to Completed.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that, when the end user posts charges and saves changes in the Add/Edit Charges window, OP 14 successfully updates the Billing Status field in the Tracking window from Superbill Exists to Completed.|
Patient Chart / Diagnostic Tests / Result Details: Notes
Solution ID: 00008080
|Issue:||When the end user accessed the Result Details: Notes window in Diagnostic Tests and then clicked outside of the window, OP 14 hid the Result Details: Notes window behind the OP 14 application window. With this issue, the end user was not able to select the window so that it was focused in the application, which could have led to access violations when closing OP 14.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that the Result Details: Notes window is a modal window. With this update, when the end user accesses the Result Details: Notes window, the end user can click in and out of the window and OP 14 will continue to display it within the application even as focus shifts from one window to another.|
Forms / School/Camp Form
Solution ID: 00008107
|Issue:||OP 14 listed in the Other Vaccines section of the Generic School Form vaccines that were not correct for the selected patient. With this issue, the Other Vaccines section of the Generic School Form was displaying the vaccines for the patient for whom the end user had previously generated the Generic School Form.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software to ensure that the Other Vaccines section of the Generic School Form lists the vaccines that pertain only to the selected patient.|
Patient Account / Charged / Add/Edit Charges
Solution ID: 00008158
|Issue:||When Patient Responsibility was set to Deductible, then Copayment in an insurance record and the end user created a claim and added a CPT code, OP 14 populated the majority of the charge amount with Patient Responsibility. OP 14 should not have automatically populated the Patient Responsibility until the Explanation of Benefits determined the Patient Responsibility or until the end user entered it manually.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that OP 14 uses the System Preference for AutoPost Mode when the end user creates a claim. With this update, when a claim is created through the Claim, Import Superbill, Superbill and Post Selected, or Superbill and Post All functions, OP 14 automatically assigns the Patient Responsibility according to the setting in System Preferences. The end user still has the ability to overwrite the automatically assigned Patient Responsibility amount.|
Billing / Statement Queue
Solution ID: 00008189
|Issue:||When the end user ran statements, OP 14 did not apply the correct dunning message to each statement aging range. With this issue, if a dunning message was exactly 255 characters and the end user wanted to append a custom message in the Bulk Statement window, there were zero characters remaining for the memo and OP 14 would set the memo to the same default dunning message for all aging ranges.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that statements that the Bulk Statements function generates display the correct dunning message for each statement aging range and correctly displays up to 255 characters for each dunning message as well as the appended memo.|
Billing / Statement Queue / Bulk Statements
|Issue:||When the end user ran a Bulk Statements job from the Statement Queue, OP 14 did not use the Aging Reference Date (set on the Billing tab in System Preferences) to determine which transactions to include in the batch.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that, if the end user selects the Service Date radio button under Patient Aging Reference Date in System Preferences, the Transaction Dates and Exclude Older Than Date filters in the Batch Billing Statements window successfully use the date of service as the reference date for creating the batch.|
If the end user selects the Patient Responsibility radio button under Patient Aging Reference Date, the Transaction Dates and Exclude Older Than Date filters in the Batch Billing Statements window successfully use the Claim Patient Responsibility Date as the reference date for creating the batch.
Billing / Adjudications
Solution ID: 00008138
|Issue:||When an adjudication included more than one transaction, the end user had to click repeatedly to select or deselect the Approved checkbox.|
|Resolution:||Updated the software so that, if an adjudication includes more than one transaction, OP 14 successfully selects or deselects the Approved checkbox with each click.|
