We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or "OP 19". OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. You may also notice that the version number in content and videos may not match the version of your software, and some procedural content may not match the workflow in your software. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these enhancements.

Function-specific Improved Functionality

Activities / Patient Message eXchange / Contact Preferences

Patient Register / Patient

Patient Register / Contacts

Function:

OP Version 14.9.21 introduced the following changes regarding the display of Preferred Contact methods in various windows:

  • When OP Notify is enabled, OP software updates the contact methods throughout the system. This includes:
  • Removing from the Patient and Contacts tab of the Patient Register the Preferred Contact methods for Reminders.
  • Removing from the Contact Preferences tab of the Patient Message eXchange window the Preferred Contact methods for Reminders.
  • Unrelated to the OP Notify changes, this version of OP software also removes contact methods from several windows, because they are unnecessary fields. This includes:
  • Removing from the Patient and Contacts tab of the Patient Register the Preferred Contact methods for Billing Statements and Medical issues.
  • Removing from the Contact Preferences tab of the Patient Message eXchange window the Preferred Contact methods for Billing Statements and Medical Issues.

OP software needs to display the Preferred Contact methods for Reminders in the Preferred Contacts tab of the Patient Message eXchange window and in the Patient and Calendar tabs of the Patient Register.

Solution:

Enhanced the software so that OP software displays the Preferred Contact Methods for Reminders on the following windows:

  • The Patient and Contacts tab of the Patient Register.
  • The Contact Preferences tab of the Patient Message eXchange window.

With this enhancement, OP software displays the Preferred Contact Method for Reminders on these windows in all cases, regardless of whether there is an active INTELICHRT Correspondent record.

Note: None of the changes in this release impact Billing Statements as they are received. This update removes the Preferred Contact methods for Billing Statement and Medical Issues from the windows listed above because they are obsolete in these windows.

Patient Chart / Immunizations

Function:

OP software needs to be updated to support the latest (2019) CPT Codes.

Solution:

Enhanced the software to ensure that OP software supports the latest (2019) CPT Codes. This includes the CPT Codes added, removed, and edited as detailed in the 2019 CPT Code Updates article on the OP Help Center.

Note: The update of the CPT Codes does not remove deleted codes from OP software. It changes the description to read, Do Not Use 2019.

Resolved Issues

Non Function-Specific Resolved Issues

There are no resolved issues in this release that impact the overall application.

Function-Specific Resolved Issues

Schedule and Practice Workflow / Diagnostic Tests

Issue:

When the end user clicked on the Review Date Range tab in the Diagnostic Tests tab of the Schedule and selected a substantial date range (several months or so) and then selected a record, OP software changed the Patient ID information at the top of the window to the patient that was at the top of the data grid.

Resolution:

Updated the software to ensure that OP software displays the correct Patient ID information at the top of the window regardless of the record selected in the data grid.

Address Book

Issue:

When the end user accessed the Address Book, selected an option from the Category Descriptor dropdown list, and clicked Search, OP software displayed no search results.

Resolution:

Updated the software to ensure that the Category Descriptor options successfully filter the search functionality and that OP software displays all matching search results when the end user selects a Category Descriptor.
