OP Mobile: Uploading Files

The content in this article is relevant to the New OP Mobile.

Overview 

All OP Mobile Users will have access to the Upload File feature where they can upload a photo ID, an image or a document. Images can also be linked to an Encounter. Files may only be uploaded and are not visible in OP Mobile but are available to view in OP.

Upload a Patient Photo ID

File Specifications

  • Only 1 Photo ID can be uploaded at a time. 
  • There is an 8G file size limit. 
  • You cannot upload video images. 
  • The following file types can be uploaded: JPEG and PNG.

Note: If there is no patient selected, you will not be able to upload a photo ID. When you use the Photo ID tab the image that is uploaded can only be classified as a Patient Photo. If you need to upload something other than a Photo ID, use the Document tab.

  1. After logging in to OP Mobile, click Upload File in the Left Navigation Panel. The Photo ID tab is selected.
  2. Perform a Patient Search to find the patient that you want to attach a Photo ID to. Click here for more information on patient searches.
  3. Click the Patient Name to select.
  4. Click the Choose file button.
  5. Search for and select the Photo ID.
  6. Click the Open button. The Edit Image screen is displayed.
  7. Crop your image if needed.
  8. Click Done.
  9. Click the Upload button.

  1. A pop-up message is displayed to confirm the Photo ID was uploaded.
  • To remove the Patient or Photo ID, click the X .
  • To edit the Photo ID you uploaded, click Edit in the Image section, update the Image, and click the Done button.

Upload a Document file 

Uploading from the Document tab will only allow Miscellaneous document type files to be uploaded without a patient associated. For all other document types, you will need to associate a patient before the system will allow you to upload the file.

File Specifications

  • Only 1 file can be uploaded at a time. 
  • There is an 35G file size limit. 
  • You cannot upload any word, text or video image file types. 
  • The following file types can be uploaded: JPEG, PNG, TIFF and PDF.

  1. After logging in to OP Mobile, click Upload File in the Left Navigation Panel. 
  2. Click the Document tab.
  3. Click the Choose file button.
  4. Search for and select the Document.
  5. Click the Open button.
  6. Select one of the following Document Types from the drop-down menu
  • Insurance
  • Patient Miscellaneous
  • Photo
  • Miscellaneous
  1. Perform a Patient Search to find the patient that you want to attach the Document or Image. Click here for more information on patient searches.
  2. Click the Patient Name to select.
  3. Click the Upload button. A pop-up message is displayed to confirm the Document was uploaded

Upload an Encounter Image

  1. After logging in to OP Mobile click Upload File in the Left Navigation Panel. 
  2. Click the Encounter Image tab.
  3. Perform a Patient Search to find the patient that you want to attach an Image to. Click here for more information on patient searches.
  4. Click the Patient Name to select them.
  5. Click the Select file button.
  6. Search for and select the Encounter Image.
  7. Click the Open button. 
  8. Crop your Image if needed.
  9. Click Done.
  10. Click the Upload button.

Note: A patient should have an open Encounter in order for you to use this functionality. If you select a patient that does not have any open Encounters, a message is displayed to notify you that the patient has no open Encounters . You will not be able to upload the Image if there is not an Encounter selected.
