Portal Account Information - Background Information

The Account Information Application gives users the ability to change their personal account information for accessing the portal. This information is different from that of the Update Contact Information Application because it only details portal-specific information that is required to log-in.

When a user updates their email address on this application, it will not only change it for their portal account, but will also update their entry in the contact table in Office Practicum. This will make sure all records for this user are up to date.
