Application Setup and Preferences

Before users of your website can self-schedule for flu clinics, the Flu Clinic application must be set up. To do this, access the Preferences page for Flu Clinic.


  1. This dropdown has a list of Appointment Types. Find the Appointment Type that corresponds to the flu clinic header / footer records. For clarification, see Creating a Flu Clinic in OP 14.
  2. Choose the type of supplies you have for the flu clinic.
  3. Here you can define the templates that will be used for scheduling. The Flu Clinic application will attempt to determine the appropriate template when scheduling a patient for a flu clinic appointment.
  4. If this box is checked, users will be able to choose any appointment time that is available throughout the flu clinic scheduling block. If unchecked, users do not get a choice and will be assigned the next available time slot in sequential order.
  5. To help prevent multiple office visits (that could be combined), you can check these boxes to prevent flu clinic scheduling for patients with previously scheduled appointments.
  6. This is used to restrict the time frame for users of your site to sign up for the flu clinic. Users will not be able to sign up for the clinic before this date.
