Orders and Workflow Surveys Tab

Version 14.8

Overview

This section of the template design demonstrates the edit or addition of the surveys associated to a template.

Add a Survey

  1. Review the Survey tab.
  • Click the Survey tab.

  1. Click the Insert Record button .
Note:  You may also click into the add new record field.
  1. Click the drop-down arrow and select from the survey list.

  1. Type instructions for the survey in the Special Instructions field (optional).

  1. Click the drop-down arrow and select a diagnosis code. The diagnosis search window displays (optional). (If you have already added a diagnosis and CPT code to your survey under Utilities> Manage Clinical Features> Survey Administrator please skip steps 5 & 6).
  • Type a code or description and click the Search button.
  • Double-click - OR - highlight and click the Select button.

  1. Click the ellipse button  in the CPT field and select a procedure code. The procedure window displays (optional).
  • Select a category.
  • Highlight the procedure code and click the Use button.

Note:  If the CPT code is not found in the categories, you may select the Lookup CPT button ScreenSnipe.
  1. Click the drop-down arrow and select a Department .

  1. Click the drop-down arrow and select a Usage.

Usage
Definition
Alternate
Will show the item in the task window.  An alternate item needs to be selected at time of charting.
Routine
Will show the item in the task window with a checkmark already selected in the add box.  A routine item is selected for task submission at time of charting.
Standing
A standing order is submitted as a task to the selected department when the template is used at time of charting.
  1. Click the Post edit button.

Edit a Survey

  1. Review the Survey tab. 
  • Click the Survey tab.

  1. Click to highlight a survey to edit.
  • Click the drop-down arrow in the Survey field, select a survey.
  • Enter special instructions (optional).
  • Click the drop-down arrow in the DX field, select a diagnosis code (optional).
  • Click the drop-down arrow in the CPT field, select a procedure code (optional).
  • Click the drop-down arrow in the Department field, select a Department.
  • Click the drop-down arrow in the Usage field, select a Usage.
  1. Click the Post edit button .

Delete a Survey

  1. Review the Survey tab.
  • Click the Survey tab.

  1. Click to highlight a survey to delete.
  2. Click the Delete record button.
