About Patient Chart: Asthma Action Plans
Path: Clinical, Practice Management, or Billing tab > Patient Chart button > Asthma Plans
Asthma Action Plans (also known as the Asthma Action Plan Wizard) are used to customize an Asthma Plan for a patient's symptoms and needs. The Asthma Plan lists the triggers, severity level, treatment plan, and other information regarding a patient's asthma condition. The window is broken into tabs to allow users to easily navigate through the sections of the Plan. Additionally, Back and Next buttons are available.
Note: Just like a paper chart, the electronic chart in OP contains personal health information and should be kept protected and confidential. Always close all windows on your screen and log out of OP when you are not at your workstation. |
Asthma Actions Plans Map
Number | Section | Description |
| 1 | Asthma Plans button | The Asthma Plans button accesses the Asthma Action Plans in the Patient Chart. |
2 | Asthma Plan tabs | The Asthma Action Plan tabs are used to access the specific sections of the selected Plan. |
3 | List of Asthma Plans | A list of the patient's Asthma Action Plans is displayed in the Existing tab. |
4 | Action buttons | The radio buttons display the actions that a user can take from the Existing tab. This is where a user can choose to create, update, view or print, and delete an Asthma Plan. |
5 | Back and Next buttons | The Back and Next buttons navigate between pages of the Asthma Action Plan. |
