Patient Portal Correspondent

Before you can use the Create/Validate button for the Patient Portal, you need to make sure you set up the E-Correspondents Table for your patient portal. The Patient Portal will not function correctly without the proper setup of OP_Portal in the correspondents table.  In order to set it up:

  1. Click Utilities > System Admin > e-Correspondents from the main menu. The Correspondents window will open.
  2. Locate the OP_Portal in the Class column of your e-correspondents list. The Correspondent Name should be Patient Portal. 
  3. Select OP_Portal to display the Connectivity information in the Connectivity/IDs tab below.
  4. Enter your portal web address in the Login URL field.
Note: You must include the *https://* in the Login URL field for the E-Correspondent to work.
  1. Create a log-in ID and password. This is going to allow the OP software to access either the Patient Portal or Practice Website and create accounts or reset passwords. You do not need to use these log-in credentials anywhere else. 
  2. Click the green checkmark button to save your changes.
