We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or "OP 19". OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. You may also notice that the version number in content and videos may not match the version of your software, and some procedural content may not match the workflow in your software. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these enhancements.

Patient's Checklist

Version 14.19
The Patient Checklist window merged with the Patient Chart > Tasks for easier convenience with the creation of OP 19. Since the Help Center supports both OP 14 and OP 19, the account functions within the patient chart for OP19 will still be referenced at the same Help Center locations as OP 14.

About the Patient Chart: Tasks

Path: Clinical tab > Patient Chart button > Tasks (Communication group)
Path: Practice Management tab > Patient Chart button > Tasks (Communication group)
Path: Billing tab > Patient Chart button > Tasks (Communication group)

The Patient Chart is the central point of access to all areas of a patient's complete Medical record.  Use the Patient Chart to access and maintain patient records.  The Tasks window contains the Patient's Checklist within the Chart window.  Orders and tasks can be opened and created from this tab.  Also, tasks currently listed in the tasks grid can be edited and deleted from this tab.

Note:  Just like a paper chart, the Office Practicum chart, and other windows in Office Practicum, contain personal health information that should be kept confidential. You should treat all windows in Office Practicum (like F8 Chart) just like you would treat a paper record of patient health information, never leaving that record out in the open for others to see. More specifically, you should always close all windows on your screen and log out of Office Practicum when you are done at your workstation.

About Patient’s Checklist

Path: Smart Toolbar > Tasks button

The Patient's Checklist serves as a "Reminder" list of tasks to be completed by providers or staff members regarding a specific patient's care or records. Each Checklist task or item is assigned to a department or area of your practice (e.g. Billing, Front Desk, MD, Nursing), and given a due date for completion. All Checklist items assigned in a given day or week can also be monitored by the office staff or manager to ensure that each task is completed in a timely fashion.
