The Preventive Exam window charts a patient well-visit exam. The Preventive Exam window helps to code and complete a preventive encounter visit.  The preventive exam note encompasses both narrative and comprehensive formats. It also allows you to customize the layout of the note.  The note is added to the patient chart.

The Allergies window displays and documents both medication related and non-medication related allergies and vaccine reactions.

Allergies buttonThe Allergies button opens the Allergies window in the patient's preventive exam note.

Well Visit Function buttonsThe function buttons delete an entire well visit note, edit a well visit note, or save an well visit note.

Flag as Incomplete checkboxThe Flag as Incomplete checkbox will mark an encounter as unfinished.

Allergy/Reaction List Function buttonsThe Allergy/Reaction functions buttons:
  • Print: Prints the patient Allergy/Reaction List.
  • Add: Opens the Allergy/Reaction window to add an allergy/reaction to the Allergy/Reaction List.
  • Edit:  The Edit button opens the Allergy/Reaction window to alter the selected allergy/reaction in the Allergy/Reaction List.
  • Delete: The Delete button deletes a problem from the Allergy/Reaction list.
  • Move:  The Move buttons move a problem up and down in the Allergy/Reaction list.
  • Reviewed:  The Reviewed button marks a selected problem in the Allergy/Reaction list as reviewed.  The reviewed indication is time stamped.
  • No Med Allergies button:  The No Med Allergies button  provides an indicator that there are no active allergies/reactions for the patient.

Prioritize buttonThe Prioritize buttons move the selected allergy in the allergies grid.

Allergy/Reaction ListThe Allergy/Reaction List is a list of all the patient's allergies/reactions (past and present).  The list indicates the allergy/reaction, notes, status, onset date, resolved indication, and updated date.

PMFS History/Meds ReviewedThe PMFS History/Meds Reviewed field is a text box where you can enter or review a patients past or current allergies/reactions.  You can also indicate the the patient does not have any allergies/reactions in this field.  Current Allergies can also be listed in this field.

Complete List button

The Complete List button lists the templates that are created, edited, and reviewed in the Well Visit Template Editor. Templates are pre-written scenarios you can use in a well visit to document common pediatric diagnoses. Templates include detailed descriptions for the usual pertinent positive and negative findings of a wide variety of illnesses, with a standard assessment, plan and ICD-10 coding. Included with your installation of Office Practicum are Pediatric specific templates.
