We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or OP 19. OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. You may also notice that the version number in content and videos may not match the version of your software, and some procedural content may not match the workflow in your software. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these enhancements.

Dear Colleague(s):

I am writing to inquire about your practice plans to implement Direct Messaging as a secure method of exchanging patient health information. Our EHR, Office Practicum, has integrated Direct Messaging functionality so that we may easily, efficiently and securely communicate with our referral care network and physician colleagues.

I understand that all 2014 Certified EHR systems have been tested on their ability to implement Direct Messaging services to exchange protected health information. We are hopeful that your practice uses a 2014 Certified EHR system as well, so that we may use this technology to communicate securely with your practice.

I’d like to learn whether or not you currently participate in Direct Messaging or plan to participate in the future. If you are already participating, I would be pleased to exchange Direct Message email address(es) with you. If you find yourself in the midst of implementing this service, and you would like to test the messaging service, our practice would be happy to collaborate with you. If you have not yet enrolled in the service, but have plans to do so in the future, please let us know.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding this exciting opportunity to improve communication, coordination, and patient care.

Sincerely,
