About Schedule and Practice Workflow: Referrals
Path: Smart Toolbar > Schedule button (F7) > Referrals tab
The Schedule and Practice Workflow combines a number of forms to help you get your work done faster and more efficiently. The Schedule and Practice Workflow consists of a calendar, patient tracking, messages, a task list, encounter information, well visit information, diagnostic tests, referrals, documents, surveys, and a patient prescription queue.
The Referrals tab displays pending referrals. From this tab you can select a referral to review, edit, or print. Referrals are displayed based upon the selections made in the Scope field.
Schedule and Practice Workflow: Referrals Map
|Review/Edit button||The Review/Edit button opens the Referral/Care Transition Details window for the selected referral in the Referral list grid. Doing this will allow you to review or edit a referral to a specialist, respond to a referral, create a correspondence, and input a tracking entry for the care transition|
|Print button||The Print button prints the Referral record list displayed in the Referrals Record List grid.|
|Referral Record List grid||The Referral Record List grid displays pending referrals based upon the selections made in the Scope field.|
The left tabs open a different section within the practice's schedule and practice workflow. The Schedule and Practice Workflow contains the following left tabs:
|Scope||The Scope field narrows the parameters for the displayed tab. The Search Schedule button displays the highlighted patient appointments in the Search Appointment window. Users must have Messaging_Allow_View_All_Messages permission in their profile to see the Scope field.|
