We are currently updating the OP Help Center content for the release of OP 14.19 or "OP 19". OP 19 is a member of the certified OP 14 family of products (official version is 14.19.1), which you may see in your software (such as in Help > About) and in the Help Center tabs labeled 14.19. Search for a Patient

Overview

The patient search field   appears in the upper left-hand corner of many windows in OP.  

  • To see the search options, hover over the Patient Directory button.

  • To conduct a full search of the Patient Directory, click on the Patient Directory button.

The full search of the Patient Directory shows that you can search for patients by:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Alternate ID/name
  • Patient Status 
  • PCP

Note: OP defaults to search for 'Active' patients. If you are searching for a patient who may have another status, such as Merged, Transferred, Inactive, etc., use the dropdown to select the appropriate status.

From full search of the directory, you can also see a snapshot of patient and insurance balances, demographic information, contact information etc. The visible columns can be edited by selecting the 'visible columns' icon located to the far left of the window.

  • You can also save your search preferences by clicking the Save Prefs button.
