Overview

Badges in Encounter and Well Visit Notes are calculated in the same way that they are calculated in the Patient Chart. For this reason, they are not displayed in both places. Once a visit note is opened (either Encounter or Well Visit) the badges will display in the note window. In general, badges update every two minutes. If an updated badge count is needed before the automatic refresh occurs, the user can right-click in the Navigation Panel and click Refresh Badges.

The following items inside the Visit Note behave identically as in the Patient Chart:

• Vital Signs
• Immunizations
• Diagnostic Tests
• Referrals
• Surveys
